What a way to run a business...A home business at that. Speaking of home...My wonderful husband (andy) has just informed me that he will be taking a contract up in ALASKA for 8 months...(that is the sound of my head exploding)...When I say contract up in Alaska I mean he will be going to work at a remote site hatchery, on an Island...up in ALASKA! We will not be going with him but he will be back in 8 months...and he does keep trying to remind me that his paycheck will be directly deposited into my checking account every other week...Why are men dumb?
I keep telling him that he can't soothe my feathers with money. Boy is he dumb!!!
I always knew this could happen. Before we got married we spent years at a time apart because he was at remote sites and we always figured that when the kids were grown up we would live in Alaska at a remote site and grow older together but MR. Crazypantswants to take a contract now???Now with Aaron just out of the hospital? He is nuts and I may have to cut holes in all his underwear!!!!!
My rant for the day? I'm crazy...Andy is VERY crazy and...well there you have it. I'm going to spent the rest of my day working on how to get a website going!!! wish me luck

Last week I went to e-bay to show one of my friends the type of books that you do, then I almost have a heart atack because I found that your e-bay store was closed. but I know that with all that happen to you was just the wrong botton.
Now about the job for your husband, I have the little filling he is not going anywhere I do not way.

The sky is falling! The sky is falling. Boys, what are they thinking. I have always wanted to go to Alaska so that part sounds exciting. But what is he thinking. Sorry to hear about your dark days and the closing of your ebay store. But from the looks of your last ebay listing your fans have found you. Looking forward to seeing more of your wonderful stuff.

I am visiting your blog for the first time and read this post full of empathy and compassion - until I began to chuckle. Why? Picturing your hubby explaining to other men in Alaska why the moths only ate HIS underwear.

I agree, holes in the underwear! Ebay isn't going anywhere. You've been thru a lot. Take a breath and know your fans will still be here when you decide to open your store again. Did you know on the days when I want to scream I sit and look at your fabric books and loose myself in the beauty. There is something calming about the fabric,lace, poems, ribbon and vintage photos. So that sounds really crummy to lose all your info on your computer - can we just say...You are on A Roll ??? I do feel for you..I had to restart my computer with original software to try to cure something and ! Had to wipe it allll out. THAT STUNK SO BAD. I hear you and your pain.
Well this new site will be even grander. Even "More BEtter" I am sure.
