should I be mad?

Beleive it or not this is the best cat ever! Her name it kady and she is my art companion. Normally she spends her days louning on my long abandoned desk next to my sewing table. Since she is abnormally fuzzy and warm and sweet I love having her with arm length for the occasional unplanned belly scratch (her! Not me!). Well...now she has decided to take up residence ON MY SCANNER!!!!!

Now don't get me wrong , I love this cat but all I can think when I see her there is that I can't believe she has parked her big butt ON MY SCANNER!!!! I suppoe this is all my fault. I do have 4 cats and I did let them take over the entire house. they walk on the counters, sleep in the clean laundry pile, scratch everthing all to hell, terrorize the dog (sorry I'm not a dog person but I threw that one in just for the heck of it) and tease the chickens! It did almost break up my marriage when a cute little black cat got dumped off on our doorstep. It was him or the cat! He announced (Needless to say I found a wounderful new home for little black kitty). But I just can't help it! I'm a sucker for a fuzzy belly and big purr, just not ON MY SCANNER!!!!

About the kitty: Mad? did you really think she cares about it, it will be double work get mad and get over, and for sure she don't care if mommy is mad with me, anyway she is CRAZY for me and love me so much that I can do what ever I want.

Know talking about the parking; Big butt? Do not talk to loud females are very worry about this two words.

Oh that is so funny. I guess it is WARM there.
I have a kitty that looks similair and she loves belly scratches too.

And I had the almost opposite happen with the cats and the new beau. Luckily - asthmatic him and all...we have all worked it out ! laughing.

My little black kitty used to love to curl up on top of the computer when it was on....Now I have a laptop...no room for kitties !

Glad to see you bloggin ! Love, S.

Oh my goodness =^..^=

Your work is lovely.
I found your blog through Sandy.

I enjoyed the tour of your studio space. I'm with you ... I simply LOVE to peek into other artists spaces! (Did you see the last two posts of Ulla (ullabenulla.tytpepad.com) ... She's opened her studio doors!

As for your Miss Kitty? Well, I have a young mancat of 8 or 9 years that is staying with me for a bit that could match her naughty acts & raise her by five at least! He turns the computer on at night! (among other things ... like walking and sleeping ANYwhere he wishes) ::sigh::

He is (as I write this) chasing an imaginary fly around the room ... or perhaps he found the lost catnip mouse. Total brat -- but I love him. The other felines that own the cottage are not as pleased.

Too bad. Junebug is here for the duration -- until his human person is home from the peace corp.

Perhaps it is your blog he is visiting in the night. I'll have to watch for his comments ::grin:: to catch him!

Great to "meet" you.
=^..^= zU

I have 2 indoor cats and one of them recently took to sleeping on my flatbed scanner. I used the old pepper trick, just a light sprinkle. It was the only thing guaranteed to work. Cats just hate pepper. I've also used it to keep them off our dining table.
